As we put the Nemesis on the table and started the redesign of it for 2012 it quickly turned in to a brand new bow. As the design started coming together words like speed, agility, durability and endurance seemed to be the focus of this new bow, but we knew we had our hands full to find something that would over shadow the Nemesis. When the first prototypes of the new bow started being tested it was quickly seen that this bow packed a mean punch and shoot like a dream to have such a compact axle to axle. We knew right away we had something that was going to really and truly be the predecessor to our Nemesis.
As the design almost seemed to define itself, so did its name. When the word "Lycan" was suggested, we all agreed this discribes this bow.
The definition of a Lycan: They possess enhanced strength, reflexes, coordination, speed, agility, durability, endurance, and superior abilities.
The New Breed Lycan features a Bionix 2.0 modular two track cam system, with a 7" brace height, a 31" axle to axle, and speeds reaching up to 327fps(IBO). The Lycan features a T6061 aircraft grade aluminum machined riser, our new split parallel limb design, custom made premium strings/cables, Bowjax grips, and the Bow Rattler adjustable string suppressor.
The New Breed Lycan is forgiving to shoot, smooth to draw, fast, easy to tune, and shoots incredibly accurate all wrapped up into a compact size perfect for hunting from your favorite tree stand, bow blind, or anytime you need a hard hitting bow that is easy to maneuver in tight situations.
