New Breed Archery

Horizon Compound Bow

Bringing a new light to tournament archery.

For 2012 New Breed is releasing a new target bow design. We saw the need to create a very accurate longer axle to axle bow that could be used during the winter months to compete in the indoor competition shooting leagues but also fast enough to be used for outdoor competitions as well. We feel we have done just that with the 2012 New Breed Horizon.

The Horizon has been described to “Just flat out shoot!!” It has a 39” axle to axle to give it just the right amount of forgiveness so that even the most unforgiving shot seems to still hit its mark. The Horizon has a newly designed riser like no other, the riser will allow for no hand shock but at the same time will not be so dead in the hand that it doesn’t allow for some minimal feedback to let you know the bow shot was executed properly. The grip of the new riser has the same great grip that New Breed is known for but it is set inline with where the limb pivots of the riser giving it the increase in accuracy needed for indoor style tournament shooting but allowing the design to keep the brace height lower than most indoor style target bows which allows it to produce speeds up to 315fps(IBO)! With the 7 ¼” brace height the 3D competitor will be able to produce the speed needed to reach most 280fps speed limits enforced by orginzations like the Archery Shooting Association(ASA) but still keep the accuracy and forgiveness of their winter league indoor spot bow.

The 2012 Horizon features a T6061 aircraft grade aluminum machined riser, the SL Bionix 2.0 two track cam system, our newly designed split limbs, custom made premium strings/cables, Bowjax grips, the Bow Rattler adjustable string suppressor, as bonus feature the Horizon also comes ready with a secondary rear stabilizer insert to allow for easy installation of back weights, offset bars, or a full set of rear mounted V-Bars to fit your individual bow balancing needs.

This Horizon will set a new standard in competition archery, no longer is it necessary to have a bow setup just to shoot indoor leagues, a bow to just shoot 3D competition or even another bow just to shoot those extreme distance shots of FITA outdoors competition. With the Horizon you will be able to do it all with the same bow. This will certainly be a clear advantage because you will not have to spend the time getting use to different model bows as the competition season changes.
